Wendy is a Hospice & Home Health Nurse with more than 17 years of experience.  In 2012, Wendy was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma stage 3 cancer.  After painful chemo and radiation treatments, her skin and hair were left ashy and dry. She spent hundreds of dollars on products that did not work. With the help of her husband Juan "Johnny", together they brainstormed to create a natural product that would aid in healthier skin. GreenOcto was born in 2015 and in 2016 began to launch their skincare product in local Farmer's Markets and shows. Their product line has grown and has been sold throughout the country. 

Why the Octopus?

To us, the Octopus is symbolic as it reminds us of cancer that once affected our lives.  As its tentacles spread through Wendy's body and its nucleus was the tumor in her neck. Cancer was not the end but a new beginning. We used a painful event in our lives to find a positive outcome. We learned that the Octopus in the ocean is able to regenerate itself back to health. Together we morphed 'Green' and cut the Octopus to 'Octo'.  Green Octo was created.
